As a young adult I have experienced the loss of all four of my grandparents before the age of 25.
I’ve witness the pain and the stress that can arise from planning a funeral and having the money
to pay for expenses. I knew that funerals were expensive, but I never have seen a detailed list of
services that are provided and there cost. Not all of my grandparents had the best life insurance
so my family had to come together to cover the rest of the cost so that our loved one could be
properly honored on this earth one final time. Below is an itemized list of services that this
particular funeral home provides and the cost for each service. I wasn’t aware that a funeral cost
about the same as a use 2009 Honda accord with about 35,000 miles on it. Make you wonder if
there are any other cost effective ways to respectfully bury a loved one.
