Summer of 2015 was the first time in eight years I went back to Mexico to visit
family during summer vacation. Most of my family that lives over there have not seen
me since I was eight years old. My family is from two small towns near each other in
Michoacan, Mexico, my dad and his family are from San Vicente also known as La
Loma. My mom and her family are from the town next over called Las Cruces.
My dad’s hometown is a small ranch town animals everywhere, horses, cows,
goats, and pigs. In that town is my parents old house they use to live in, it’s a small old
brick house now abandoned but still standing. Near that house is my uncles goat farm,
