Saudi Arabia is an interesting country but has so many interesting pieces. The country is
known for their petroleum trade. This is big money in Saudi Arabia and accounts for most the
countries income. Their legal system is also very interesting because it brings elements of
Egyptian, French, and customary law. The voting age is 18 but men are only allowed to vote.
This may change though as prince Mohammed bin Salman is instituting change in his country.
In current news Saudi Arabia has been reported to be changing up their military. They got
rid of a lot of their old military leaders and replaced them with women. This is a huge step for
the extremely conservative country. Women in power positions isn’t a prominent thing in very
Muslim country so I think this could be a huge step for women in the Muslim region. In an
