Samuel wasn’t just sleeping the house of the lord but his was sleeping in the
same room as the Ark of the Covent. This is equivalent to sleeping in the same room
as the Lord and this is the same place where Samuel was laying his head. As Samuel
is trying to sleep the lord calls out to him multiple times waking him out of his sleep.
Each time he hears the Lords voice he runs out to Eli mistaking his voice with the
