Work Reflections

Over the weekend, I covered three events for a total of five work hours in Brookings on
various social media platforms. The first event I covered was the Brookings Farmers Market on
Snapchat. I enjoyed covering this event and got photographs of various items sold at there and
spoke with various vendors about their experience with having a booth there. I thought the
photographs of the produce worked well with the platform as people on this social media
platform are attracted to quick, compelling images. The issue I came across was incorporating
video. I need to improve on knowing when/what to capture something on video.
