Week #6 Homework
- Why is knowledge important?
There are so many ways that knowledge is important in successful sales practices.
Chapter 6 outlines three primary reasons for why it is important for a sales person to have selling
knowledge. First is the fact that knowledge will increase A salesperson’s self-confidence. Second
is to build the buyers confidence in the sales person, and third is to build relationships through
truly caring about the needs of others. Only through the possession of a high level of relevant and
useful knowledge can a salesperson provide excellent service. That is the bottom line.
