Testing cosmetics and households products on animals
– is morally unacceptable

In this article, I want to tell about why testing cosmetics and household products on animals is
morally unacceptable. The objectives of this paper will be to tell why it is bad and immoral to test
chemical products on animals, to tell why it can be inefficiently, to tell about Black and White
Lists of cosmetic companies, to tell about a direction and organizations which oppose violence
against animals and to tell about alternative methods of testing. Generally, the question of the
permissibility of experiments on animals is a difficult moral issue of human and animal
relationships that humanity is trying to solve but can not do it yet. Modern medicine representatives
claim that animal experimentation is a necessary source of knowledge for medicine because
without it humanity will not be able to fight off many types of diseases. However, animal
experiments, which began about 300 years ago, occupy very small segment of medicine history,
which has made significant progress in different eras without using the experimental data. That
tells us that there are other ways to achieve success in medicine and other areas where there may
be a threat to human, not conducting animal experiments.
