Wild Hogs

The feral hog has been around South Texas for decades now causing damages in many
ranches and home. There has been and overpopulation of wild hogs all over the country and that
will only continue to increase. They have caused damage on numerous properties, causing
landowners to lose lots of money there for a lot of them try to get rid of them for the sake losing
money and their safety. The feral hog is a mean pig that cause damage and can hurt someone
with its huge tusk but it is also very good eating. People have been trying to get rid of them by
hunting them all types of ways like helicopters, dogs, traps, and using feeders to the lure them in.
Wild pigs where first introduced in the late 1500s, by Spanish Explorer, Hernando
DeSoto the numbers of these pigs have only increased. These animals can survive in all types of
conditions they’re bodies have learned to adapt in cold and hot conditions. They tend to live
close by water and love being in mud especially when the weather is hot. The mud cools the pigs
