Throughout the article, I found many interesting arguments and information surrounding
the idea of death and what happens to the soul afterwards. Death is a frightening topic but as
Schillace states in the article, the understatement of death as a transition does and will not make
the living feel any less sorrow. Death is a tragedy and you should feel upset about loved ones
passing away, yes it is something we will never be able to escape but realizing something will no
longer exist calls for allowance of grievance.
Reincarnation is something that I find to be very intriguing and Schillace explains the
origin behind “ Samsara”, and how the entire universal process is the cycle of death and rebirth.
