In response to your request, this memo serves as a summary of the current issues that your band,
Merry Man, is facing and my detailed recommendations to first tackle your internal issues.
Summary:
After analyzing the information you provide, I have come to acknowledge that Merry Men is
struggling with several issues, all of which could be categorized into:
1. Internal issues:
• The increasing size and over-centralized organization of the band lead to your
loss of control
• The growing number of members exceed the forest’s food capacity while
buying food from outlying villages hurts the band financially
• Revenues decline because travelers are avoiding crossing the forest
2. Competition threats:
• The Sheriff is growing strong
• The Sheriff has good relationships with court members, especially with regent
