Introduction
Roberto Clemente made a huge impact during his unfortunately short lived life. The hall
of fame baseball player was able to rack up an NL MVP Award, 3 NL Player of the Month
Awards, World Series MVP Award, NL Gold Glove Award for 12 straight years, 12 NL All-Star
appearances and also leading the NL in batting average, hits, triples, putouts, and fielding
average in different years for many years. Roberto Clemente the baseball player was very
successful and made a huge impact on the game for generations to come, but most importantly
Roberto Clemente the man was able to make an impact on many more people’s lives off the field
through his outstanding leadership.
