Robert Frost’s Nothing Gold Can Stay
In Robert Frost’s Poem, Nothing Gold can stay, although of short stature, completes his idea of
many ideas and conclusions on life in general with imagery. Frost alludes to an ambiguous theme that
can be transformed into multiple ideas at the audience’s will. The audience can conclude that the
message in Frost’s poem is about temporary enjoyment and pleasures in life, and symbolized through
nature’s seasons. This is completed through the author’s tac.ul use of pathos, and references that are
classical enough to be recognized by the audience.
