To our dearest national hero,
Like me, you were just an ordinary person. A boy with dreams, hopes
and wants. You were living your life the way you are expected to. But
something’s special in you. Something so special that had lead you to be a
different kind of person. You loved the Philippines so much. You grew up
witnessing not just the pleasures and wonders of life, but also the nightmarish
situation our county was experiencing during your time. It had lead you to be
very idealistic. You had your own beliefs and you stood for what you think
was right. You fought for our country which I cannot imagine myself doing.
And for that I am thankful.
As a modern Filipino, I admire your courage, strength, and
unconditional love for the country. I wonder if there are still people like you
