Unit one Revision Memo
The first problems I need to address with are the grammar and mechanics problems.
Because grammar and mechanics are the footstones of an essay. Using the right grammar
and Mechanics can make the readers understand the easy more easily and clearly. I have
many grammars problems in this easy, and I think I need to be more carefully when I use
punctuations and some words I don’t know. Because English grammar system is a little
different from Chinses grammar system; I will do more practices and pay attention to
grammar portions when I read books in order to gain more experience and fix the problems
as soon as possible. The second problem I have is fragment problem. In my essay, I wrote
some sentences, but I didn’t keep explaining them more specific. I think the way I can
solve it is trying to stand on the readers’ side because I know what I’m talking about,
however others don’t. I need to explain my arguments clearly in order to make my reader
know my purpose. The third one is about organizations, I may don’t have big problems
about organization in this easy. However I think I can improve my organization much
better. The organization is associated with the writer’s logic. So, when I try to write an
essay about analyzing an article, I have to read that article more carefully to find the proper
arguments and textual examples I am going to use in my essay.
