Nelson Atkins Chinese Exhibit
While visiting Kansas City over my Thanksgiving break, I had the privilege of visiting
one of the midwest’s finest art museums: The Nelson Atkins. The Nelson has quite a few great
ancient collections. I walked through the American Indian, African, and Islamic exhibits, but
found the Chinese one to be my favorite. One of the museum employees told me it was one of
the most acclaimed Chinese collections in the country, so I decided to spend about 45 minutes of
my visit walking around the exhibit with him.
