New York City. The Big Apple. As it stands today, New York is antithetical to several of the
ideals that drive people to visit the most populated city in America, and when visiting in October
of last year, this notion was reinforced. Being a fast-paced city which promised so much, but
offered little, it was clear to see that unless you are a commercial fanatic who thrives on
congestion and mainstream sights, New York is worth avoiding.
The congestion in New York City is overwhelming, not only regarding traffic but with
people also. New York City houses 8.5 million people distributed over 305 square miles (NYC
Gov.). That’s insane! No wonder there’s hundreds of people walking the streets at any one time,
not to forget the thousands of cars on the roads, and by on the roads I simply mean – situated on
