Revenge is something that everyone can relate to. Everyone has experienced that
desire to give an enemy a taste of his or her own medicine. A lot of times people will go
as far as hurting another person to get revenge. Is it the right thing to do? Revenge can be
very satisfying, but I do not think that it is a good idea to actively seek revenge. However,
revenge does not always have to be bad; it is possible to turn it into something positive.
Revenge to some people is the only way to justify the problem. I look at it as,
“What goes around, comes around.” Recently, a person that had conflict with me in the
past put dog poop on my car handles one night when I was sleeping. I woke up the next
morning, went to grab the handle, and got it all over my hand! At the time, I was furious
and wanted to do something about it. After a few heated words were said, I realized that
this act was immature, and I did not want to stoop down to their level. Getting revenge
would be childish on my part, and it was not worth my time to even worry about it.
It is not a good idea to waste energy on something as petty as revenge. When you
seek revenge on someone, they are going to want to get back at you for what you did, and
