Response of “This Boy’s Life”
In this novel, Tobias Wolff, also renamed Jack Wolff after Jack London, together with other
characters, has harbored the wish to transform to anyone else in every way possible.
Life is full of ups and downs. The inevitability of dismay and adversity play a role in humans’
life in escaping from the real life and create a new life in imagination.
When I was little, having traditional values, my parents paid much attention to my academics
because exam score was the symbol of who I was as a good student. Day in and day out, it felt like I
