Respect
In the following selection Dr. Asa Brown she develops a simple definition of this word.
What she and I we are going to do it is to keep the definition of this word clear and how
has been present in our lives since the first human beings stepped the earth. She classifies
respect as something that you earn thanks to certain actions that people need to earn to
become a man of respect. I am not trying to explain respect as that something that you
earn, I classify respect as an expression of admiration that you keep developing conform
you are growing as a person.
We are often reminded that we are a direct reflection of what we learned at home. When
you are child your parents have the duty of teach us values and how do we need to act
between the society so we can fix in the community and contribute with it as good citizens.
When you are a child you are like a sponge absorbing everything in your way, what I mean
of absorbing or soaking up everything it’s that we inherit any phobias, personalities, habits
that are present it your home and we do this sometimes consciously and sometimes
unconsciously. When parents say that their children are being disrespectful, what do they
really mean with that? What do you mean that they are showing little respect? Everyone
