In this paper I will be talking about homosexuality when it comes to confronting your
peers or colleagues and how those people deal with finding out about their peers or
colleagues being homosexual. Some people act positively and some negatively and some
do not have an opinion at all. In my opinion most people dont have a problem with
homosexuality but make excuses by saying that it wrong for you to be homosexual it in the
bible, but what I believe that a society at whole has dubbed it as being wrong and people
without an opinion what to conform with society so they also believe it is wrong.
I would like to bring up a case about a young boy in the United States named Matthew
Shepard who was tortured and murdered because he was homosexual and his murder gave
national and international attention to hate crimes. This happened in the late 1990s and
the world has come a long way since then but there is still room for change. The world is
slowly changing and hopefully some day a man being together or marrying another man or
the same for a women will not seem so crazy or different. Until that day comes I believe
there will still be a high demand for support groups, a need for a place to go and talk about
issues where that person will not be judged or faced with bullies and it can take the stress
