Introduction
In Mark 12:30-31, Jesus said, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall
love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark
12:30-31, English Standard Version). As Jesus has called humanity to love each other as
ourselves, so are attorneys called to help their clients as they would want to be helped. This
means, when a dispute arises, an attorney must inform himself/herself with the legal, ethical, and
moral knowledge necessary to competently advise and represent a client.

In the case given in example question 19-2, the specific type of case is an eviction case.
In the interview with Williams and Gibson, the attorney and paralegal did a good job collecting
data that will be necessary to the case. They discovered there was an issue with Fox’s claim that
