Who should be? Why?
Workers only follow what was being said by their supervisor in accordance with
the process set in the operation. They should have the tools and proper training so that
the productivity goals will be met. Supervisors are the one ensuring each employee that
they are equipped, and they have the skills. They should be held responsible together
with the control managers in each organization that are tasked with maximizing
productivity through process-oriented observations and improvements. The workers are
only responsible when they are not listening and learning.
2. Coca-cola is called a global product. Does this mean that Coca-cola is
formulated in the same way throughout the world? Discuss.
No. Just like Jollibee and MCDO. They have products that match their specific
target market. Jollibee spaghetti is sweet which matches the taste preference of the kids
and some other millennials while MDCO matches the preferences of oldies the most.
Culture, taste preferences, and other factors must be considered. For countries such
as the United States, Coca-cola is not sweeter than Asia. It only simply means that the
product that is being sold globally is not formulated the same in other countries.
