increased patient safety. Nurses may share whatever they’ve learned with physicians and establish the
best treatment plan for each unique patient since they spend a lot of time with them. Interprofessional
collaboration in medicine helps to reduce healthcare costs by preventing medication errors, improving
the patient experience, and delivering better patient outcomes (Forman & Thistlethwaite, 2016). It also
aids hospitals in reducing costs by eliminating workflow redundancies as well as inefficiencies. Employee
cohesion is enhanced by teamwork, which reduces clinical errors, resulting in higher patient satisfaction
and better healthcare. Team cohesion improves performance and patient safety and makes the
workplace healthier and happier, reducing burnout among many healthcare workers.
