It’s safe to say that rent and home prices have drastically risen over the years due to many
outcomes. A strong population growth is definitely one of them and from the state of California
where a housing crisis is a huge problem, it doesn’t make things any better. Housing
affordability is one thing California lacks on which is why I strongly agree that rent control
should be enforced in the whole state, not just in various cities. In the interesting article, “Rent

idea of rent caps being put in place, which could possibly shift renters from renting to buying a
