Being in a relationship is a lot of work; so much goes with it and makes it last longer. When
being in a relationship, you must know that you want that; you must make sure that the vibe is
there, that you guys have things in common, and that you guys have goals. When being in a
relationship, I’ve felt that it’s 50-50 where both sides pay half of everything. You must match the
love and energy of that same person. I’ve learned a lot in my past relationships, and my first
relationship with my daughter’s father was abusive. He was the dominant one, in which
everything had to be his way or no way. We started as friends, and then got closer little by little
and became boyfriend and girlfriend. He would bring me to school every morning when I was in
high school, and we would spend time together. At that time, I thought he was more experience
because he had a baby on the way already. I wasn’t his girlfriend until after high school; long
story short, he was dominant and always expected me to do things and always pay for things.
