Within the Catholic Church abortion was always condemned evil within the religion
because the Bible forbids murder but why is it morally acceptable within our society. The
Catholics believe that even if the baby is in the mother’s womb is still considered a human being
even if it’s a single cell organism or a fetus. Pope Francis said in an interview for Italy’s anti–
abortion movement that human life was unbreakable and abortion was an “unspeakable crime.”
