“Regeneration” represents kind of my generation. I appreciated what most the speakers
had to say in this film. In which, I agree that most people know about what happens around
their life and the rest of the world such as immigrants, refugees, global warming, war, etc.,
but most of us are so apathetic approach to social and political causes because those
problems seem like too big for us. We just let it go because we do not know what we
should do for those issues as the speaker said. With me, everything happens as just as the
way it is, and it is not strange. At first, I might be surprised, but now it is just exclamations
because those issues I have heard day by day and nothing has changed. Besides, I agree
with the speaker said “Your value is innate […] you can do anything you want. It is a
totally lie;” we cannot do anything we want because our society has a structure, rules, and
laws. Everything has a standard, and if you do not follow it, you will be an outsider.
My generation is technologies generation as like as the speaker said “electronic
environment”. These days, we can see each person can hold a phone on their hand at
everywhere to compare with old generation who will hold a book instead. Everyone own at
least one kind of technology systems and we spend sitting in front of a screen for most of
time in our lives. For instance, I can use phone and laptop more than 8 hours a day.
