From my result and experiences, I am not interested or good at science, language and art
subject. Fortunately, Business Information Management (BIM) has provided subjects that I
am interested in like accounting, statistic and finance. BIM has provided me a wide range
of disciplines on analyse and interpret data from a range of case studies. It let me
understand technique and used of numeracy, financial literacy and statistical literacy skills
related to business. It also allowed me to observe and gather information from the real
world. Then analyse it and interpret the data.
However, there are some strengths and weaknesses I had experienced in this course.
Out of all the subjects I studied in class, financial literacy skills would be my weaknesses.
This might because of I lack of financial knowledge and I had always misunderstood some
financial terms. In my previous experiences, I always thought bonds were some kind of
share which accrued interest at the end of the day. After the week 5 tasks, I had learnt what
bonds are and how they are used. I realized bonds are actually a kind of debt. Bonds are
totally different with shares. The knowledge of financial class will lead me on the right
track. On the other sides, I learnt that financial literacy skills are very important in
individual living. Financial skills is more about informed the judgment and decisions
regarding the use and management of money. For example I had learnt how to find out the
future and present value and what they are in the week 9 classes. This class had really
