Ever since I was a child, I have developed certain subject that I found extremely enjoyable
to the extent that it makes learning fun. I think having a favorite subject or course makes us be
more committed to learning new things and it inspires us to stay genuinely focused.
Now that I am on the first year of my college journey and an aspiring medical technologist
in the future. I have developed certain courses that I find inspiring and makes me envision myself
more as a successful MedTech. This course that I am talking about is the Principles of Medical
Technology Practice I.
The Principles of Medical Technology Practice I, as per the course information booklet, is
designed to introduce to students the fundamental principles and concepts of Medical Technology
education and profession clinical laboratory and pathology services, clinical laboratory biosafety,
risk assessment and waste management practices. Professional practice issues and the historical
foundations of the profession are also discussed (FEU Institute of Arts and Sciences, 2020).
The best learning or takeaway that I got from this course is how I can be a responsible,
dutiful, and accountable Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist once I graduate
and work in the field with my fellow medical practitioners. In the following paragraph, I will This

This learning is important to me as a student because it enables me to learn as early as now
