While taking this class I have already learned a variety of new things that allow me to
understand society better. Even though the class has just started, there are still many
sociological lessons that I found very interesting. The four things that I have learned so
far that are most interesting to me are the Sociological Imagination, Types of Statuses,
Internalization, and
I believe that the Sociological Imagination serves a very important role in my
school classes. The Sociological Imagination is your ability to step back from social life
and analyze the situation from many points of view. I find this very helpful in my ad–
vance classes, especially AP American Government and Politics. During this class
