Through cost accounting’s decision-making process, I implemented common concepts
into my own life. The current world-wide pandemic was an approaching problem that held
uncertainties. Social isolation, online classrooms, and dramatic change were unknowns that
would impact my social life, education, and well-being. Information concerning the virus
became important to understand overall safety and implications as a college student living on
campus. My resources, time, and costs in the future were expected to change. I decided to use
this opportunity to become more familiar with technology, invest time wisely, and practice
