Subject: Recommendation for Stratton Auto
In this case it is clear that Stratton Auto has encountered a problem with one of their
employees and I appreciate the opportunity to provide my insight on such a matter. In this
memo, I will explain why I considered the following as options that Stratton Auto could
take. They could have a talk with their employee and keep him in his current position, they
could fire him, or they could have him undergo a leave of absence from the business until
after the holidays. I will also explain why they should or should not go through with
certain alternatives and how it will affect the business. My analysis will show the best
solution for Stratton Auto’s problem by considering their alternatives. I will conclude with
a brief suggestion on which course of action the business should take when handling this
situation.

One option that Stratton Auto has is to keep Blake Power and to just talk with him about
the problem. This option will give Blake a warning that his actions will not be tolerated if
they continue. This will allow Blake to keep his job which is a good thing with the
holidays coming up. This will decrease the possibility of bad publicity for the business,
which is good when you operate in a small town where word travels quickly. This option
