Why I came to my decision:
I want to continue to grow and learn within Healthcare Supply Chain. I believe with the team around me
and the way the organization is restructuring, there is a great opportunity to learn and grow within
Healthcare Supply Chain.
I admire the fact that you continue to challenge me and are not satisfied with just average or pre!y good
work. You always want to see perfection or continuous improvement, which in my opinion is what
everyone whether in the Healthcare environment or not should strive for! That was a big part of my
decision.
I want to continue to develop and improve my skills including: speaking and presenting, strategic thinking,
confidence, and listening.
I need to be happy with what I am doing. I really enjoy coming to work every day and continuing to
improve, and working with the team around me and working in the Healthcare field in contributing to
make a di’erence in People’s life’s.
Areas of Improvement and Accountability to Get to Next Level:
For the area of Public Speaking I will be participating on weekly basis in toastmasters and will be delivering
and presenting speeches to improve my presentation and public speaking skills. This in turn will also
improve my confidence when speaking at VAC and presenting at other meetings.
For the area of confidence, I will develop confidence the more and more checks and balances I do on my
numbers and understand the strategic side of purchasing. I will then have the confidence to back up my
numbers from both a strategic and numbers side.
In terms of listening I just need to slow down, once I understand a li!le be!er the strategic side of things,
and what my areas of focus will be this will come.
