Reading Guide #5: Narrative
It is highly recommended that you look over these questions before you begin your
reading. Answer the following questions using the second chapter on Narrative from
Essential Cinema. Unless a question asks you to do otherwise, please answer in your

one we haven’t gone over in class), explain the concept of “exposition.” First, define
