determining where one will end up – desk assistant or manager. To properly market oneself, a
raw material assessment works as a great guide. The purpose of a raw assessment is to gather as
much information about your strengths, potential strengths, bad habits, interests, personality, and
core values. In order to gather this information, online assessments and feedback from peers,
family, coworkers are very helpful and valuable. Once you’ve hit all six categories, they are
analyzed and synthesized into creating your own personal brand. Personally, when you know
your faults, weaknesses, and strengths, it allows you to know yourself better. The better you
know yourself, the more confident you feel about who you are. This confidence allows you to
promote yourself in a positive aspect aligned with your strengths and potential strengths, despite

you have some bad habits, but are willing to correct them and not let them define you. A proper
raw materials self-assessment is not only beneficial in the business world, but allows a deeper
