Rapes are usually perpetrated by individuals that know the person they are raping. It is a
myth that the majority of rapes are scary strangers that are stalking and preying upon
someone. This instance, it was a stranger preying upon someone in the dark. They say that it is
despicable to hurt those that you know or love by means of rape and sexual assault, which is
true. The mentality to do this to someone that you don’t even know is equally disturbing. For all
you know the person that was preyed upon will cure cancer or save children from a burning
building. Either way it is just sick! The courage that this lady displayed is very inspiring. I felt
highly impressed and moved by her. She was able to focus on and learn things about him, such
