(who represents both senior management of the organization and the outside customer, if there is one).
In other words, it is an agreement entered into freely by two or more parties.

3. How is a charter like a contract? How is it different from a contract?
Project charter is a document issued by some authority, creating a public or private institution, and
defining its purposes and privileges while a contract is an understanding between entities to follow a
specific course of conduct.
4. How long should a typical charter be?
It is usually 3 page long
