d. How can dispersion of data be measured? BY USING THE STANDARD DEVIATION
e. What does the small value for the measure of dispersion indicate?If a measure of dispersion
has a low value, it indicates that the data is closely clustered, such as around the arithmetic mean.
As a result, the mean is thought to be descriptive of the data and therefore trustworthy.
