How society perceives anything outside their individual comfort zone tends to cause them
confusion amongst their thoughts and ideas of morality. Not only does Robert Coles’ I Listen to
My Parents and I Wonder What They Believe and Platos’ The Allegory of the Cave contain the
same ideals about morality and perception development, but their outlooks in the articles both
supplement the reasons to how we develop the “philosophers” outlook on conflict and resolution.
