Individual Reflection Paper
Introduction
Jupiter Medical Center is a not-for-profit healthcare facility and is the organization where
we chose to study the organizational behavior process of employee burnout occurring in the
transportation department. We plan to assess the organization’s employees by distributing
surveys asking various questions regarding employee burnout. The transportation department is
comprised of 25 team members responsible for the movement of patients across the 207-bed
hospital. Our three-member team include Jessica DiDiego, Courtney Washington, and myself.
Structure and Evolution of the Team
The initial stage of group development is what is considered the forming stage, which is
when a group may have the most uncertainty about each other and the structure of the group
