1. Company presentation
Shake Shack is an American gourmet fast food restaurant. Founded in 2001 by a
celebrity chef started as a hot dog stand and it slowly grew into a burger joint. Today
they cater to consumers who want more than fast food, they combine design and
food to elevate the experience. In 2010 they started to expand through the states.
Their vision is to stand for something good, which implies taking care of their team,
of their customers by sourcing premium ingredients from like minded partners,
designing responsibly so they match the communities, also supporting these
communities and more. They consider themselves an anti-chain chain, because
while they are the same restaurant, they don't want their buildings to be a copy
paste. They aim to fit in the communities and better them with good sustainable
design. With this design they stand out and give a better impression to customers.
They also try and fit better by adjusting their menu, this by adding new things
inspired on local customs and cuisine.
Shake Shack is an international company, they slowly expanded outside the US and
they are in countries like Mexico, UK, Japan, China, Dubai and others in Asia. They
have almost 400 locations with more than 7.000 employees.
The company went public in 2015 and is on the NY stock. Currently they have a
