PTSD in Veterans
In a war filled world there are many negative effects on veterans besides physical
damage, there is also a mental post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that can have an effect on
veterans after serving in war. PTSD has effects that creates an uncomfortable environment for
veterans. This paper will describe the psychological effect, cures/recovery,and an action plan.
The most common disease war veterans have had signs of is PTSD. These signs are
shown in there change in mental state. Psychological effects on the brain after being in such a
tragic time of war has long term and short term effects.”Post-traumatic stress disorder causes
short-term memory loss and can have long-term chronic psychological repercussions, according
