I know that we can not choose or alter many of our baby’s genes as this is impossible. But the
future is still ahead, somehow if they could do that, I would enhance my child. I would create
one intelligent, logical and compassionate children because I really hope than I can contribute to
building a better world. How would be if there were a lot of talented people? This may help stop
conflict caused by people with inferior genes. Peasants and the working class should be more apt
to be hard working followers. The higher class such as government officials and businessman
would have genes that make them better leaders. This would advance our progress as humans,
develop the universal and lead us step up higher. We could partly reduce the influence from
parents to children, even so many parents are not good enough, but we still can create a clever
and helpful child. On the other hands, it might happen consequences that we would never expect
such as everyone would tend to become leaders, employers, bosses and no one wants to be
employees or labor forces since they are so “perfect”. Nevertheless, it would happen if the lucky
appeared; unless, the child could not adapt when many genes were altered inside their body.
If the rest of the world was using the technology and my child may be treated as a “special
needs” person and possibly even blaming me for being “normal” like everyone else. I would
explain how bad it could bring to my son/daughter. Perhaps, he/she couldn’t stand the genetic
changes if they were so weak. More than that, I still want my children to inherit personality,
quality from their own parents. I would encourage that they were still special in our mind, even
all other children were born “excellent” by biological technology but you still approached their
line and successful on the natural way.
Personality, characteristic and behavior are not inherited from birth parents. Those are affected
by nurture, from what we learn and be trained. For example, the children naturally feel upset,
then they cry and give up whenever they lose something or can not complete what they want.
But, if their parents know how to teach them stand up after falling, motivate them by the prize;
they will be able to recover quickly from difficult situations and become a resilient person. Like
