My Virtual Child Summary Two
My child, at age 12 is experiencing normal puberty behavior. He has begun to have a
growth spurt. I know he has begun because he has been eating a lot lately and it says he has been
growing. The next evidence I have found is that he is seeking approval from his peers. When he
was made fun of for his clothing he was very upset. This is normal for this age. Most kids this
age start to notice themselves and other kids. They start to seek validation from their peers
because it is important to them to be accepted. James also has begun to argue with me more and
sulk in his room. Mood swings are also a sign of puberty. I believe that he has been experiences
them and that is why he is arguing with me more often even with the slightest provocation. He is
also having trouble with his friends. I believe this is because he is trying to figure out who he is
