The fabulous destiny of Amélie Poulain
The Amelie film released in 2001 as a drama/romance film. There is also absurd comedy in
it. It’s about the Amelie character that gives the film the name. In the film details in the world and
imagination are discussed to remind us of our world bay way of the Amelie character (Jeunet,
Laurant, Jeunet, Tautou, & Kassovitz, 2001).
The followings can be said briefly about Amelia; she born in France, her father is a doctor,
her mother is a teacher. He lived in France for the rest of her life. After her mother’s death, she
lived with her father for a long time. After leaving home, she started working at The Two
Windmills restaurant in Montmartre 5 years later. She has been educated by her mother at home
because of her heart problems she has had since her childhood. Due to lack of friends, she has
been drawn to her inner world and helped her to live in this dream world. We see that she is not
very talkative in the film, but we can tell that there she has no bad relationship with the people
