As we age, does our memory necessarily decline as well? Briefly describe the general

It is noted that People in their 60s and 70s experience more difficulty in remembering name
and finding words as compared to their 20s counterparts. Among the elderly, there is a
common complain of being forgetful (Craik, 1994). The ability to remember specific
contextual information in the recalling of one’s experiences declines with progress in age.
(Glisky, Rubin, & Davidson, 2001). In general, people often see the decline in memory as a
sign of aging. (Sigelman & Rider, 2015). Henceforth this essay seeks to bring about the
general changes that takes place in our memory as we age and if there is any truth in it.
