There are different modes of heat transfer that are used in the process of grilling. The three main
heat transfer processes are conduction, convection, and radiation. In these processes, heat can be
transferred directly or indirectly. Conduction is the process of heat transfer through direct contact
with the energy source (Goldwyn, 2020). This method of heat transfer during grilling, heat is
transferred to the grill and the metal brands of the grill into the meat. The heat transferred to the
grill is greater than the surrounding air. According to Goldwyn, the grills accumulate more heat,
