Theme/Colors
We describe our theme for our Fall 2017 line as “In The Hunt”. Abercrombie and Fitch
has always had this classic “hunting” theme that is much more modern and their fit is very safe.
With our updated items, we are able to change the fit and construction of their items, allowing
A&F to be more fashion forward. Contributing their original style and theme with a twist of
Eastern details and embellishments, we feel that the brand can be much more recognized. Yes,
our choices are a bit bolder than their typical choices, but with the right colorways, it will all be
able to blend in with the overall brand. Our colors chosen were inspired by the “Colour Analysis
A/W 17/18” found on WGSN (Bobby, 2015). We also acquired inspiration from FALL|WINTER
17/18 color palettes found on Fashion Snoops as well as when we shopped the market. The
collection of key item, fashion knit top, and pattern are circling around the theme of the Eastern
Asian trend found within this years Fall and Spring lines
