God made people equal. People from different races, colors, religions, and backgrounds
can have equal rights and obligations. In the story of “The Prodigal Son” and “Everyday Use,”
we have seen something different where parents tried to inforce some rules upon their children.
Each parents followed a different approach. However, throughout both stories there is one
similarity which the fact that the youngest child in the family gets more favor than the oldest one.
Thus, after analyzing both stories we see a scenario that involves injustice with the oldest child
in terms of forgiveness.
All parents love their children. This is what life and nature is about. However, when
parents. After reading and analyzing both stories, we can see that parents in both stories only
give favor to the youngest child. Additionally, in both stories, parents did not realize that their
children want to move out from the old fashionable life style and that they want to follow
different paths and enjoy life the way they see it suitable. Additionally, parents are just helping
the younger child to achieve his goal. In the first story, we have witnessed that the younger son
wants to live his life by spending his father’s money while his older brother was working with
his father to collect and build all that fortune.
On the other hand, the second story also suggests a similar situation to the first. In this
