Have you ever had a huge task that you had to do and you said to yourself, “I have plenty
of time to do this,” or “I’ll put it off until later?” Most likely, you have. I know this because what
you are doing is something that everyone does and that my friend is procrastinating. Maybe
you’ve heard this word before. I’d like to help give you a better understanding of what exactly
procrastination is. I’d also like to tell you how procrastination affects you in school and how you
can fight procrastination. So come with me on a journey so we can attempt to understand
procrastination better.
Procrastination means to put off or delay an action until a later time. This means that
when we have something to do, whether it be hard or easy, we’ll purposely delay doing whatever
the task is. This is why we do it. However, the reason(s) why we do it are caused by certain
